Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of being a "terrorist" after he rejected Turkey's "moral lessons" regarding the bloody clashes on the border of the Gaza Strip and Israel.
"Hey Netanyahu, you are an occupier and as an occupier you are in those territories and at the same time you are a terrorist," Erdogan told supporters in Adana in southern Turkey, in a televised speech, according to Agence France-Presse.
According to Israeli media, the Turkish president also said that Israel is a "terrorist state".
"I don't need to tell the world how cruel Israel's army is. We can see what that terrorist state is doing by observing the situation in Gaza and Jerusalem," Erdogan said and added that Israel committed a masquerade in Gaza, reports the Turkish newspaper "Daily Sabah".
Erdogan announced that the Turks will not forget what is happening to the oppressed Palestinians, assessing that the Israeli people do not care either.
