Russian television RT has released a video of the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
The video shows several people pulling Assange out of the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
Assange was arrested today by the British police at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, the BBC reported.
Police said Assange had been taken into custody and would appear in court "as soon as possible," reports the BBC.
Assange took refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in London seven years ago to avoid extradition to Sweden on sexual assault charges, which have since been dropped.
He remained at the embassy, fearing he could be extradited to the US, which is seeking him for publishing thousands of classified diplomatic and military cables through WikiLeaks.
