A month after the fire that engulfed the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, UNESCO leaders believe that it is time to pay serious attention to the preservation of historical monuments around the world.
The fire broke out at the top of the cathedral, during works worth around six million euros.
Notre Dame is one of the world's most visited tourist attractions.
