More than 40 soldiers and recruits from a military academy in central Switzerland ended up in hospital after suddenly falling ill, and four are in critical condition, the Swiss government said.
The Ministry of Defense specified that 43 people from the Jasbah de Linden academy in the canton of Bern suddenly developed diarrhea and vomiting yesterday afternoon.
The army spokesman stated that four people are in critical condition.
While the authorities try to determine the causes of the epidemic, the canton of Bern has quarantined Jasbach.
That military school specializes in training to defend against hacker attacks.
