Boris Johnson will be the new Prime Minister of Great Britain, according to the British media.
Johnson defeated current Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt in the race to become the new leader of the Conservative Party.
He will succeed Theresa May as Prime Minister.
Johnson will become prime minister tomorrow, and the main issue that awaits him in office is Brexit.
Johnson said in his victory speech that the main goals of his government will be to implement Brexit and unite the country.
"The goal is to get Brexit done, to unite the country, to defeat Jeremy Corbyn (the leader of the Labor Party). And we will do that," Johnson said after being declared the winner of the party election.
He stated that he will bring new energy to the country and the spirit that it is possible to do something.
"Today, at this crucial moment in our history, we must reconcile two noble instincts - the desire for free trade and cooperation with our partners, and the simultaneous equally deep desire for democratic government in this country," said the new Conservative leader.
According to him, many will certainly question his choice, but in the Conservative Party "no one has a monopoly on wisdom".
Johnson thanked his rival Jeremy Hunt for a quality campaign and former Prime Minister Theresa May for her "exceptional service to the party and the country.
Both Johnson and Hunt maintained during the campaign that a no-deal Brexit was acceptable.
Some ministers have announced their resignations in the event of Johnson's victory over his stance on Brexit, with Education Secretary Anne Milton already resigning.
The election in the Conservative Party took place after the resignation of Theresa May after a series of defeats in parliament related to Brexit.
The Chairman of the Conservative Party, Brendon Lewis, said that the election showed the party's values in the best way and called on the party to stand behind the new leader and support him.
