Nineteen people died today when a bus fell from a bridge into a frozen river in eastern Siberia, Reuters reported, citing local authorities.
In addition, 21 people were injured in the accident, reports the British agency.
The first investigations indicate that the front wheel of the bus, in which there were 43 passengers, burst while the vehicle was crossing the bridge over the Kuenga River in the Trans-Baikal Region, the local traffic police reported, as reported by the RIA Novosti agency.
The vehicle went off the bridge and fell into the river, according to the statement.
