A man was arrested after threatening to detonate a bomb in the Church of the Holy Spirit in the Swiss capital of Bern, officials said.
After a five-hour police operation, a 21-year-old African man was arrested, according to Swiss media.
During the operation, the traffic around the main train station in Bern, which is located right next to the church, was interrupted, said the police spokeswoman.
The church was evacuated, and the area around it is still closed to traffic, reports Tanjug.
The police neutralized the device that the young man had with him, and it is still being determined whether it was dangerous and to what extent.
