In the center of Moscow, near the building of the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB), there was a shooting in which at least three people were killed.
"Raša tudej" states that the attacker is among the victims, but that it is still unclear what exactly happened.
A representative of the FSB confirmed to journalists that the attacker was killed.
Tas Agency announced that one of the killed was an officer of the Federal Security Service (FSB).
"One FSB officer was killed in a shooting in central Moscow," an FSB official said.
A spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Health announced that two FSB officers were seriously wounded in the incident.
"Two FSB officers received very serious wounds," he said.
The shooting happened after Russian President Vladimir Putin held his annual press conference.
Putin was informed about the incident.
"Certainly, the president has been informed," spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
