Today, explosions rang out in post offices in Amsterdam and Kerkrade, in the south of the Netherlands, and the police suspect that in both cases it was a letter bomb.
According to initial information from the police, no one was injured, reports Reuters.
The first explosion was in the post office in Amsterdam, eight hours ago local time, and ten minutes later the emergency team arrived.
Soon after, an explosion rocked the mail sorting center in the town of Kerkrade.
It is not yet known whether these explosions are connected.
According to reports, explosive device experts are on the scene.
Dutch police are investigating a series of letter bomb cases from January 3 that they believe were sent by the same person.
Previously, gas stations, hotels, garages, real estate agents' offices were targeted.
None of those shipments exploded.
