Italian police have arrested 10 people during an investigation into the mob's control of a cemetery in northern Italy.
Police suspect that two clans of the Ndrangheta mafia group determined which businesses were allowed to carry out funerals or construction work such as laying graves at a cemetery in Modena, a city in the Emilia-Romagna region, the AP reported.
The 'Ndrangeta mafia criminal organization is based in southern Italy, it also deals in the cocaine trade, but it is increasingly moving to the north of Italy in search of more income and legitimate businesses, which it uses as a cover for money laundering.
