Slovakia expels three Russian diplomats

Slovakia has expelled three Russian diplomats who worked at the embassy in Bratislava, the Slovak Foreign Ministry announced, according to Reuters. Russia announced that it would respond.

"According to information from the Slovak intelligence service, their activities were in violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations," a spokesman for Slovakia's foreign ministry said in an emailed statement.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it will further respond to the expulsion of diplomats from Bratislava, the RIA news agency reported, reports Reuters.
