British Prime Minister Theresa May said that the agreement between Great Britain and the European Union (EU) guarantees the rights of three million EU citizens in Great Britain as well as one million Britons across the Union.
May also stated that after Brexit there will be no hard border between Ireland and Northern Ireland.
As she said, Northern Ireland is a "set of unique circumstances" because it is the only land border between Great Britain and the EU.
The issue of that border threatened to jeopardize the Brexit negotiations.
Earlier this week, Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party, which supports Theresa May's government, rejected the previous deal.
May said today that the deal would keep the border open while protecting the UK's constitutional and economic integrity.
