Greece: Approved vaccination against the coronavirus for children aged five to 11

The Greek sanitary authorities approved today the vaccination against the coronavirus for children between the ages of five and 11, starting on December 15.

"The first vaccination appointment for children aged five to 11 will be on December 15, and the appointment platform will be available from December 10," the Greek authorities said.

Children will be vaccinated with a lower dose than adults, and the first batch of vaccines will arrive on December 13.

In Greece, 24 people died from the coronavirus in the last 116 hours, while 4.943 were newly infected.

18.716 people have died in that country since the beginning of the epidemic.
