Great Britain's Health Minister, Jeremy Hunt, said that an investigation will begin against the Minister of International Trade, Marc Garnier.
He made such a decision after it was alleged that he asked his secretary to buy him two vibrators.
"If these stories are true, it's obviously unacceptable," Hunt said on the BBC's political program.
Garnier's secretary, Carolyn Edmondson, told the British newspaper "Mail" that Garnier gave her money to buy him two vibrators in an "erotic shop" in 2010, and that he called her derogatory names in front of others.
Garnier is married and has three children, but did not want to comment to AFP.
The story appeared in the newspaper after female staff, as well as members of the British Parliament, created groups on messaging apps to warn colleagues about the abuse, according to Reuters.
