Germany has decided to increase arms deliveries to Ukraine and will send another 2.700 anti-aircraft missiles, sources close to the government announced today.
The government approved the additional delivery, the same sources told France Presse, adding that they are Soviet-made "Arrow" missiles, which come from the stockpiles of the army of the former communist East Germany.
These stocks were integrated into the stocks of the German national army, the Bundeswehr, after the reunification of Germany in 1990.
On Saturday, the German authorities approved the delivery to Kiev of 500 anti-aircraft missiles of the "Stinger" type, 1.400 anti-tank rocket launchers and nine howitzers.
That shipment arrived in Ukraine.
