The wider international community, not NATO, provides military support to Ukraine, said the Minister of the Armed Forces of Great Britain, James Hippie, reports Reuters.
He reacted after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the Western alliance was involved in a proxy war with Russia.
"The donor community is not NATO," Hippi told Sky News when asked about Lavrov's comments.
"Among the donors are a large number of countries - yes, many of them are members of NATO, but others are outside... It is not NATO that provides military aid," Hippi added.
