On the highway near Ojgendorg (Eugendorf) in Austria, there was a traffic accident involving a bus with Kosovo license plates. As reported by the APA agency, around 20 people were injured.
In the photo published by the Austrian media, the bus is from Armend Tours. No one from that company answered Radio Free Europe's calls.
The Red Cross and fire brigades went to the scene immediately after the accident.
"Currently we have information about three seriously injured and 16 lightly injured," Red Cross spokeswoman Roberta Tanner told APA.
"So far, there are no reports of casualties," she added.
"The accident happened around 03:00 on the highway, when the bus with about 25 passengers most likely hit a concrete barrier. For now, the causes of the accident are unknown," said police spokesman Hans Wolfgruber.
All the injured were transferred to the state hospital in Salzburg.
Wolfgruber also stated that the bus was traveling on the route Kosovo - Hanover.
"These are travelers from Kosovo," he said.
The place of the accident is closed to traffic, and the bus is still at the place where the accident happened.
