President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during the conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he wants to meet with Vladimir Putin, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, according to Russian media.
The conversation between the presidents of Ukraine and Turkey was held the day before, on May 30.
"Just yesterday, during the negotiations, Zelenskiy expressed his desire to meet with Putin. Turkey continues its aspirations (to organize negotiations)," Çavuşoğlu told Anadolu Agency.
After the conversation with the President of Turkey, Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Twitter that they discussed threats related to food safety and ways to unblock Ukrainian ports.
