Lavrov: Missile systems delivered to Ukraine are sold on the black market

The "Stinger" portable missile systems and the "Javelin" anti-tank systems that the West delivered to Ukraine are already being sold on the black market, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov.

It doesn't hurt to take a closer look at what is already happening with the weapons available in Ukraine, those 'Stingers' and 'Javelins'. They are already on the black market. They appeared in Albania and Kosovo, it is openly discussed and sold at a discount. The process of conquering the black market is underway, Lavrov said in an interview with NTV, reports Sputnik.

He added that he hopes that the military in the West understands all the risks associated with the delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine, he reports N1.

I hope that apart from politicians who irresponsibly demand that Ukraine be supplied with everything it wants, there are still military personnel who understand what is at stake and the risks associated with it, said Lavrov.

Commenting on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement that long-range weapons will not be used to attack targets on Russian territory, Lavrov asked if he considers Crimea and Donbas to be Russian territory.

Lavrov believes that Western countries are ready to harm themselves in order to punish Russia in order to achieve a strategic goal.

The West is ready to endanger its citizens for the sake of geopolitical ambitions, and in addition forces everyone else to act according to the same principle, resorting to direct blackmail, threats, ultimatums and other low steps and methods. They are even ready to punish Russia to their own detriment, to the detriment of their citizens, Lavrov said.
