British Prime Minister Theresa May hinted that she could replace the country's foreign minister, Boris Johnson, reports Tanjug.
This comes at a time when he is trying to assert his authority after a series of "political disasters", writes Reuters referring to the British Sunday Times.
The Sunday Times reports that when asked what her plans were for Johnson, who has pledged his loyalty to her but is accused by some of the Prime Minister's allies of undermining her by presenting his own vision for Britain's exit from the EU, May said: "It has never been my style to I'm hiding from the challenge and I'm not even going to start now," said May, and the British media interpret that statement as a sign that she is ready to introduce new ministers into her cabinet and fire those who are a problem for her. May stressed that part of her job as prime minister is to ensure she always has the best people in her cabinet. May's authority in her Conservative Party has declined since she called a snap election in June this year in which she lost her majority in parliament.
