Zelenskyi's cabinet rejects claims that Kiev is behind the murder of Dugin's daughter

The cabinet of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today rejected claims that Kiev was behind the murder of Daria Dugina, the daughter of Russian ideologue Alexander Dugin.

"Ukraine, of course, has nothing to do with yesterday's explosion, because we are not a criminal state, like the Russian Federation, and even less a terrorist state," presidential cabinet adviser Mihail Podoljak told reporters.

According to him, the Russians are raising the tension in order to achieve a public mobilization, not a covert one.

According to another version of Podoljak, in Russia now different political groups are fighting among themselves to redistribute the internal ideological space within the country.

The car of the daughter of Dugina, who is called an ideologue of the Kremlin and the "Russian world" and the war in Ukraine, exploded on the highway near Moscow, killing Daria Dugina on the spot, Russian investigative authorities announced.

According to eyewitnesses, Dugin himself was supposed to be in the car, but at the last moment he switched to another vehicle. Some media assess that Aleksandar Dugin was the real target of the attack.

The head of the separatist Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, accused "Ukrainian terrorists" of being behind the murder.
