The Investigative Committee of Russia announced today that the murder of Daria Dugina, the daughter of the philosopher and ideologist of the "Russian world" Alexander Dugin, was ordered.
"Taking into account the information already obtained, the investigation considers that the crime was pre-planned and made to order. It has already been established that the explosive device was placed under the bottom of the car on the driver's side. Darija Dugina died on the spot," TASS was told in press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Darija Dugina was returning from the patriotic festival "Tradicija" near Moscow, where she was with her father. They planned to return to Moscow in the same car, but later Dugin got into another car.
The head of the unrecognized Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), Denis Pushilin, today accused "Ukrainian terrorists" of being behind the explosion, and the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said that state authorities should confirm these allegations.
"If the Ukrainian trace in the murder is confirmed, and that version was presented by the head of the DNR, Denis Pushilin, and it must be checked by the competent authorities - then we should be talking about the policy of state terrorism carried out by the Kiev regime," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.
The Cabinet of the President of Ukraine today rejected the accusations that he was involved in the murder.
