Thousands of people took to the streets of the Scottish capital Edinburgh to pay their last respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
The vehicle carrying the coffin with the queen's body moved through the center of this city during the afternoon, and the new king Charles III was also in the parade, reports the BBC.
As can be seen in the photos and videos from Edinburgh, in addition to King Charles III, the other children of Queen Elizabeth II - Princess Anne and Princes Andrew and Edward - are in the procession behind the coffin. Queen Consort Camilla and Sophie, Countess of Wessex (Prince Edward's wife) were in the vehicle behind.
The coffin with the queen's body arrived at Holyroodhouse Castle on Sunday, and after the vehicle with it passed through the streets of the capital of Scotland, it was transferred to Edinburgh's Cathedral "St Giles".
Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday at the age of 96, after being on the throne for 70 years and 214 days.
Her funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey in London at 11am (10am UK time) on September 19.
