German natural gas buyers have renewed demand for Nord Stream 1 supplies, for the first time since the key pipeline was temporarily shut down for maintenance and then shut down indefinitely due to an outage at a station near St. Petersburg.
While the requests were visible on the websites of the German gas pipelines that connect North Stream 1 to end users, no nomination requests were visible on the website of the operator North Stream 1 this morning, reports Tanjug.
Nord Stream 1 is the largest Russian gas pipeline to Europe and can send 59,2 billion cubic meters per year.
