Turkey will continue to oppose Sweden's bid for NATO membership until its demands for a tougher stance by Sweden against terrorist organizations are met, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
"As long as terrorist organizations are demonstrating on the streets of Sweden and terrorists are present in their parliament, our approach to the issue will not be positive," Erdogan told reporters at a meeting of the European Political Community in Prague.
The President of Turkey also stated that there is nothing worth discussing with Greece at the moment and accused Athens of basing its policy on "lies".
"They are not where they should be," Erdogan said at a press conference, according to Reuters.
According to him, their entire policy is based on lies and they are not honest.
"We have nothing to discuss with Greece," Erdogan said.
