An earthquake of magnitude 4,9 hit the Russian Irkutsk region in Siberia last night, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced.
The earthquake was recorded in the region around Lake Baikal, 106 kilometers east of the city of Irkutsk.
The earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There are no reports of casualties or damage.
