The suspect in the murder of three Kurds in Paris on Friday will be brought before an investigating judge tomorrow, sources close to the judiciary said.

A 69-year-old man, whose identity has not been disclosed, admitted that he feels a "pathological hatred of foreigners", and today he went to see a psychiatrist at the police station, where he has been since Friday immediately after the attack.

On Friday, near the Kurdish Cultural Center in Paris, a suspect shot randomly at passers-by and killed three people.

A pensioner with French citizenship is accused of murdering Emina Kara, leader of the Kurdish Women's Movement in France, and two men, including artist and political refugee Mir Perver.

Three more men were injured, one seriously, but their lives are no longer in danger.

The attacker is already known to the police due to attempted murders in 2016 and 2021.

The attack sparked outrage among the Kurdish community in France, where protests were held in several cities over the weekend.
