British Prime Minister Theresa May remains determined to implement Brexit on March 29, saying she will continue to seek concessions from Brussels on the exit deal, despite the European Union's (EU) categorical refusal to renegotiate.
"I am determined to implement Brexit within the stipulated period, which is March 29, 2019," the Prime Minister wrote in a text published today in The Sunday Telegraph.
In this way, Theresa May ruled out the possibility of postponing the date, as some politicians have suggested in recent days.
Among them is Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt, who said that this would buy time for the adoption of the Brexit implementation law.
The Prime Minister added that she will visit Brussels again in order to find a "pragmatic solution" to the UK's withdrawal from the Union.
