The new round of negotiations on the withdrawal of Great Britain from the European Union (EU) (Brexit), scheduled to begin on September 18, has been postponed to September 25 by mutual consent, the British Ministry of Brexit announced today. "Both sides (London and Brussels) agreed that more time is needed for consultations that would allow the negotiators to make progress during the next round," the statement added. It will be the fourth round of negotiations. The first round was held on June 19, the second on July 17 and the third on August 28. Great Britain should leave the EU at the end of March 2019, two years after British Prime Minister Theresa May officially launched the withdrawal procedure on March 29 of this year. At the referendum on June 23, 2016, that country decided to leave the Union with the votes of 52 percent of the voters. According to the latest polls, 53 percent of Britons would like to have their say on the final Brexit deal.
