President of the Supreme Electoral Board Ahmet Jener said that none of the candidates will win an absolute majority in yesterday's first round of presidential elections, even when the remaining 35.874 votes from abroad are counted.

According to the preliminary results, Erdogan won 49,51 percent, Kilicdaroglu took second place with 44,88 percent, and Sinan Ogan came third with 5,17 percent, Jener said.

If all the uncounted votes were for Erdogan, he would have 49,54 percent, Jener added.

The second round of elections, in which Erdogan and Kilicdaroglu entered, will be held on May 28.
