The Reuters agency published photos showing members of the Russian mercenary armed group "Wagner" training Belarusian soldiers.
Reuters states that these are photos taken from a video published by the Belarusian Voen TV
Reuters also reports that Belarus announced today that it reached an agreement with "Wagner" on the training of its troops.
"The Ministry of Defense and the management of the company have developed a road map for the near future for training and transfer of experience between units of different branches of the armed forces," according to a statement issued by the ministry.
The ministry did not provide further details, but said it would continue to inform the public "about upcoming works".
Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that the head of "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin rejected the offer for his fighters to join the Russian army.
During the June uprising, "Wagner" troops occupied the Russian military headquarters in southern Russia for several hours and traveled several hundred kilometers towards Moscow. The rebellion ended with an agreement that provided for the departure of Prigozhin to Belarus.
Putin offered his fighters either to join the regular Russian troops, or to go to Belarus or to demobilize.
