In the strong earthquake that hit Crete this morning, one person was seriously injured, and the inhabitants of that Greek island were warned of the danger of landslides.
An earthquake measuring five degrees on the Richter scale was registered this morning in the southwest of Crete, at a depth of ten kilometers.
As reported by Tanjug, a forty-five-year-old Spanish citizen was seriously injured when a rock fell on him as a result of an earthquake while he was hiking.
Residents of that Greek island have been warned to avoid dangerous areas - canyons, rocks, gorges and to follow the instructions of the authorities.
