Russian air defense systems destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) early Wednesday over the Kaluga region, the Russian Defense Ministry said, according to Reuters.
There were no casualties or damage in the attempted attack that took place around five o'clock in the morning Moscow time (four o'clock CET), the ministry added.
Kalushka Oblast borders the Moscow Region to the north.
