During his official visit to Russia, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited the engineering center and military aircraft factory in Komsomolsk.
Kim, accompanied by Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, visited the premises of the Jury Gagarn Aviation Institute, a branch of the UAC Jakovljev company, reports TASS.
At the aircraft factory, the North Korean leader inspected the assembly production of fighter jets, the final assembly shop of the Su-35 aircraft and the Su-57 aircraft complex of the fifth generation.
In the design department, the delegations were shown the digital technologies used in the production of modern aircraft.
As Manturov announced, Russia sees the potential for cooperation with North Korea in the field of aircraft production, as well as other industries.
Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia on Tuesday where he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
