Thanks to an alarm installed after a large landslide in 2012 in the same area, about a hundred people were evacuated on Wednesday from Bond, a village in the Graubunden region of southeastern Switzerland.
In the landslide of earth and stones, several auxiliary buildings were destroyed.
On Sunday, an avalanche of stones lasting about 20 seconds hit six hikers on a trail near the Swiss lake Gelmersee.
