The Ukrainian army announced today that it pushed Russian forces "to three to eight kilometers" near the left bank of the Dnieper.
"The first data varies from three to eight kilometers depending on the specifics, geography and topography of the left bank," said army spokeswoman Natalija Gumenyuk.
If confirmed, it would be the biggest advance by the Ukrainian military in months.
The spokeswoman said that there are several tens of thousands of Russian soldiers in the area, and that Ukrainian forces "have a lot of work to do."
