Russian air defenses shot down a drone south of Moscow last night and repelled an air attack in the Belgorod region, on the border with Ukraine, Russian officials announced.
"The anti-aircraft defense near the city of Podolsk repelled a drone attack that was flying towards Moscow," Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said today.
He added that according to initial data, there were no casualties or damage.
The Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces shot down a Ukrainian drone in Moscow region and "intercepted" a drone in the Leningrad region, in the northwest of the country.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said today that the armed forces shot down "10 missiles", and that a woman was injured in the attack.
