Demonstrations against the extreme right organized today in Munich were interrupted due to the excessive number of people on the streets, the agencies reported.
The organizers announced that more than 50.000 people came to that protest march, which is twice as many as was reported for it. According to other estimates, that number is even higher.

Demands to ban the party, which is using dissatisfaction with the current government's tax reforms to popularize its anti-immigrant policy, are becoming more frequent.
