Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Turkey where he will talk with the Turkish President, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced.
Peskov said Putin would visit Ankara and speak with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at some point after Russia's presidential election in March.
Today, the Russian president spoke by phone with Erdogan, whom he congratulated on his 70th birthday, the administration of the Turkish president reported, as reported by TASS.
"Putin thanked our president for his contribution to the development of friendly Turkish-Russian relations," the statement said.
