The Belgian police arrested four people suspected of planning to attack a concert hall in Brussels in a few weeks - the federal prosecutor's office announced today.
Among those arrested are three minors and one adult who was accused of "participating in the activities of a terrorist organization".
Belgium has been the target of extremist attacks in recent years, the most recent of which was in October, when two Swedish football fans were killed in Brussels.
Extremist attacks on the Brussels airport and subway station in 2016 killed 32 people, and last year a jury found six people guilty of the terrorist murder, which was part of a wave of attacks in Europe linked to the Islamic State group.
Among those convicted is Salah Abdeslam, who is already serving a life sentence in France for participating in the attacks on cafes in Paris, the Bataclan music hall and the stadium in 2015. Those attacks were also linked to the same extremist group, the Islamic State.
