The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had destroyed six Ukrainian drones in three Russian regions on March 7. One drone was intercepted over the Kursk region, three were destroyed over the Bryansk region, and two more were destroyed in the Tula region.

Meanwhile, Lithuanian intelligence agencies said in a March 7 report that high oil prices, sanctions evasion and state investment give Russia enough resources to fight in Ukraine at its current intensity for at least two more years.
The agencies, in their annual assessment of the threats facing the Baltic country, said that Russia has reformed and strengthened its army decimated by the fight in Ukraine in 2023 and is on track to expand its military capabilities along the border with NATO, including Finland. , which joined the alliance last year.
