"This morning, units of the Russian Armed Forces and the FSB border service foiled an attempt by the Kiev regime to break into Russian territory in the Belgorod and Kursk regions," the Russian Ministry of Defense announced after announcing that several units of Russian volunteers fighting for Ukraine had carried out a cross-border offensive.
A representative of those units told France Press after this announcement that fighting continues in two areas.
