Russian shelling killed three civilians in the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said on March 19, adding that two multi-story buildings were damaged during the shelling.
In the Donetsk region, one man was killed and five were wounded in Russian shelling, Governor Vadim Filashkin reported on Telegram.
Separately, Ukraine's navy said it shot down two Russian reconnaissance drones over the southern Odesa region early on March 19.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons - attack drones, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles and anti-aircraft missiles. Moscow, despite evidence and testimony, has denied shelling civilians in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion.
