Four British ministers who support Britain remaining in the EU due to Brexit are close to a decision to leave Prime Minister Theresa May's government, writes the Sunday Times.
The paper also reports that the European Union has rejected the British Prime Minister's plan to establish an independent mechanism that would monitor Britain's exit from any form of temporary customs agreement.
Supporters of Brexit in the Conservative Party are adamant that Britain must maintain control when it leaves the customs agreement at the time of transition to new trade relations with the EU, reports Tanjug.
However, the paper writes, the Whitehall source states that the EU will insist that all decisions be supervised by the European Court of Justice.
