Three people were killed and three were injured in a Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian port of Odesa early on May 1, regional governor Oleh Kiper said.
"The enemy attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. In the attack, three people were killed and three were injured," said Odesa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov on the Telegram social network.
Kiper added that the attack damaged civilian infrastructure in the city.
Russia has repeatedly attacked Odesa in recent days, including an attack on April 29 with an Iskandr missile. Five civilians were killed in the attack, officials said, and 23 were injured.
Ukraine's top military commander, Lt. Gen. Oleksandr Sirsky, warned on Sunday that the situation in the east of the country had worsened and that Russia was attacking "along the entire front line."
The Russian army regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons - attack drones, rockets and anti-aircraft missiles. Despite the evidence and testimony, Moscow has denied targeting civilians since the start of the all-out invasion.
