NATO countries said they were "deeply concerned about the malign activities" of Russia "which have recently been carried out on the territory of the Alliance", while confirming that these activities will not deter them from continuing to support Ukraine.
Those countries condemned "hostile state activities affecting the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Great Britain."
"The incidents in question are part of the strengthening of the activities that Russia is carrying out throughout the Euro-Atlantic area, and especially on the territory of the Alliance, using intermediaries. These are acts of sabotage, violence, cyber activities, disinformation campaigns and other hybrid activities," the announcement states and adds that these activities represent a threat to their security.
The countries of the Alliance added that they will act individually and collectively in response to these actions and continue to consult closely.
"We condemn Russia's position and call on it to respect its international obligations, because Russia's actions will not deter us from continuing to support Ukraine," the statement added.
