At least six people were injured in Russian drone strikes on Kharkiv and Dnipro, and several commercial and residential buildings were hit, Ukrainian regional officials said.
A Russian official said at least five people were injured in the explosion in the city of Belgorod, near the Ukrainian border.
The Ukrainian Air Force said Russian forces launched 13 Shahed drones targeting areas in the northeast and central part of the country. All the drones were shot down, the air force commander said.
As Reuters reports, four people were injured in the fall of drone debris in Kharkiv, and a fire broke out in one of the buildings.
Regional Governor Oleg Sinehubov said on Telegram that a 13-year-old child and a woman are being treated in the hospital and that the services are working to bring the fire under control.
Two more people were wounded in the industrial region of Dnipropetrovsk, regional governor Serhiy Lisak said. He added that critical infrastructure and three houses were damaged.
The attacks came a day after Ukraine marked 800 days since the start of the Russian invasion.
"This is an extremely difficult and painful path that our country has to go through, and the path that still needs to be taken in order to end the war under fair conditions, under the conditions of Ukraine," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said a day earlier.
The regional governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, wrote on Telegram that at least five people were injured and about 30 houses were damaged after the explosion in Belgorod, a city about 40 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
Kyiv did not comment on the allegations.
Belgorod has been hit by Ukrainian strikes several times over the months. The attacks unsettled the local population and forced many people to leave the city, which had a population of around 333.000 before the war.
The Russian Defense Ministry said its forces shot down four US-made long-range missiles fired by Ukraine over the Russian-occupied Crimea peninsula.
The claim could not be confirmed, but Washington reportedly began delivering military tactical missile systems (ATACMS) to Kiev in recent weeks.
