Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Joseph Biden this morning for the courageous measures he took to support Ukraine and welcomed his, as he stated, "difficult but strong" decision to withdraw from the race for the presidential elections in the United States of America (USA).
"The current situation in Ukraine and throughout Europe is no less difficult, and we sincerely hope that the continued strong leadership of America will prevent Russian evil from succeeding and that its aggression will pay off," Zelensky wrote on the X social network.
Last night, Biden withdrew from the election race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the candidate of the Democratic Party in the US presidential elections scheduled for November.
