Zelenski: We captured more than 100 Russian soldiers in the Kursk region

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian army captured more than 100 Russian soldiers in the Kursk region.

He said that "we do not forget our eastern front even for a moment", reports the Guardian.

"I ordered the Commander-in-Chief to strengthen this direction using the equipment and supplies currently provided by our partners," Zelenskiy emphasized.

"We are making progress in the Kursk region, one to two kilometers in various areas since the beginning of the day. During this period, we captured more than 100 Russian soldiers," he pointed out.

The Ukrainian army announced that its forces shot down a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the Kursk region.
