At least one person was killed today and two were wounded in Ukrainian attacks in the Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
"The city of Chebekino was targeted by Ukrainian forces," Gladkov wrote on Telegram.
He added that two injured civilians were hospitalized, and that they received shrapnel wounds.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it shot down a drone over the Belgorod region during the night.
Two drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, also on the border with Ukraine, and three more were neutralized over Crimea, the ministry announced on Telegram.
